The sub-committee of the Committee on Uniform Port Charges met in Portland, OR on Jan. 26, 1929. At the meeting of the representatives from all the ports, held in Tacoma, WA on Jan. 17, 1929, there was a general discussion held about uniform terminal charges, greater revenues for wharf operators and additional sources of revenue.
